The Very Best of the Best Hotels Found in Boston, MA

Finding a fantastic hotel when you’re travelling in Boston, MA isn’t often straightforward, mainly because there’s so many options! Okay, you can decide upon something out of the same Boston guidebook that everyone and their cousin has used during the last several years, but that doesn’t suggest you will have a very positive experience (the truth is, it might nearly promise a lousy one!). Rather, it’s actually a smart idea to do the tiniest bit of exploration, using your good friend the Internet. Locals will forever know the good hotels in their own city, what the best accommodations are, and the good days to go to their favourite parts of the city. Nevertheless, you don’t need to go up to everyone you run into in the airport terminal in Boston, needing their help. So in lieu, we’ve gathered a short list of our 3 most-loved hotels in Boston for you. They are the ones we suggest to our family and friends when they come to visit – but since we don’t want you to imagine we’re merely being biased, the following are the comparisons from Yelp.com:

1. Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel

stayed here 3 nights over memorial day weekend and really had no complaints. hotel is clean, modern, and the location is great–right on boston’s beautiful waterfront and near tons of restaurants/bars with outdoor seating. the bed in our room was huge and soooo comfy. carpeting in the hallways is rather…festive…[read: resembles a cruise ship on crack]…but definitely not a dealbreaker.

also! the hotel bar is bangin! [just realized we either started or ended the evening here every night of our stay...lolz.] special shout out to ALAN, phenomenal bartender…thanks for putting up with us.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our checkin was delayed by 2 hrs due to air travel. We arrived at 12:30am. That particular night their key card system was down. James, the front desk person at that time was extremely courteous and good natured about the event. He upgraded us to a junior suite(which was lovely) and escorted us to our room.

We returned 2 days later for another overnight stay. Again, it was a very pleasant experience. Have no plans to return to Boston anytime soon but highly recommend staying here. There is a water taxi right at the hotely that transports people across the harbor. $17 round trip for one person.

I stayed here over the holidays as a part of a corporate event, and WOW was I blown away. This is the definition of class. The rooms, conference areas, and design of the entire hotel was luxurious. Our rooms were incredible.

I normally wouldn’t stay here on my own dime (it’s a little outside of my price range), but it was a great time.
